Sarah Drizen is a Singer/Songwriter born and bred in North-East London and now living in Camden, North London.

Her passion is to express truth in creative ways and to share with people her life and her passions through what she writes and sings.

Sarah began her lover-affair with music  as a child, with  the clarinet, before picking up piano and singing in her early teens. During this period, she also took up song-writing. Sarah completed a music degree from City University in 2009. She now works for the London City Mission, but continues to write, record and perform.

Her Christian faith forms the foundation of her musical inspiration. Sarah’s hope is that as well as entertaining listeners her music will inspire, encourage and provoke thought. Her influences are many and varied, and when asked what style her music is, she often answers ‘Sarah Style’ for want of a better explanation! More recent influences have included secular artists such as Colbie Caillat, Corinne Bailey Rae and Regina Spektor, and Christian artists such as Casting Crowns and Brooke Fraser.

Sarah Drizen's voice is smooth, yet  piercing. It incites contemplation as it draws the hearer to meditate on the beautiful, the dramatic and the fantastic. The word refreshing comes to mind.

Sarah performs at various events, but is also currently seeking further opportunities to get her music out into the big wide world.
