ROSIE and the GLASS BALLOON are Roz Melrose on lead vocals and Chris Roe on guitar, writing the songs and bvs.
Roz is a classically trained singer and Chris has been writing songs consistently since he was 14 and has a wealth of performing experience.
RatGB are occasionally joined by Michael Wray on keyboards.
RatGB state their influences among KATE BUSH, MARINA AND THE DIAMONDS, SUMMER CAMP, CAT`S EYES, BEST COAST, early PIPETTES etc etc
Described as "mad, but in a good way", ROSIE and the GLASS BALLOON are, quite frankly, indescribable.
Quirky, energetic, different and eccentric, they sound a little bit like all the above influences melted together and baked into a massive cake by surrogate fairy godmother Julie Andrews.
