Music4children was formed in 2004 trading as Nepal Balbalika Trust.
After our 2 world records -The Worlds Highest Gig on Mt Everest 5545m and The Worlds Longest Performance - 44 hours non stop we have managed to raise enough money to acquire land outside Kathmandu and build an orphanage for 56 children, we are just finishing the internals, our goal when we have enough funds is to install self sustainability with power and income. We have another orphanage in Kathmandu -The Music4children orphanage in Kathamndu, already looking after 16 children. We aren’t only helping children in Nepal, we are helping local children where our UK events are situated. Our goal is to have self-sustainable shelters in as many countries as possible encouraging traditional creative arts that are dying as well as education and care with the local community having core involvement. We are a voluntary organization with 100% of fundraising going directly to the cause. |
